Maybe I’m just going through a natural phase—when you mostly wear pants, one day you just get an urge for something completely different and fun. Dresses are always a temptation for me, as I know which styles look great on me but it’s not the most wearable category in the closet for me. It’s just that my lifestyle doesn’t really allow for wearing a dress even once a week. I’m on my bike every day, I don’t really drive, and my activities are mostly centered around my preschooler daughter.

Still, as the holiday season approaches, I can’t shake the excitement of finding a beautiful dress. This season, I’m particularly obsessed with ruched details and French-inspired dresses. I have to resist, though, since I’m about to give birth in two weeks, and I doubt I’ll be attending any grand Christmas parties this year.

But I’m still indulging in the search for the perfect dress, if not for myself, then for my clients and followers here. So please, let me know—are you obsessing over any particular dress style this season?
